Description
This course is designed to reflect the role of employees working in banking or retail financial services environment with team and business responsibilities including: branch environments, small business banking and commercial and retail lending.
The course is offered at the Chadstone campus.

Prerequisites
Good passes at Year 11 or the overseas equivalent and preferably some relevant work experience.
English Language proficiency level of IELTS 5.5, ISLPR 2+, TOEFL 530 (Paper based), TOEFL 197 (Computer based) or equivalent.

Assessment Methods
Assessment is a combination of written assignments, tests and practical application projects. Students are required to attend tests and examinations as scheduled by Holmesglen. Tests and examinations may be scheduled on weekdays or weekends.
Teaching Methods
Teaching methods comprise face-to-face classroom teaching, lectures, discussion groups, language support and through individual learning.
Course Outcomes
On successful completion of all three stages of this course, students are eligible to receive the Diploma of Financial Services (Banking).
